The Foundation supports the Centre d'integration scolaire ("CIS") in the fulfillment of its mission to educate at-risk, underprivileged students in the greater Montreal region.

What is the CIS?

Located in the Borough of Rosemont - La Petite Patrie, CIS is a specialized French school working with underprivileged, at-risk elementary and secondary school students.

CIS students have various behavioural and learning challenges that make it difficult, if not impossible, for them to integrate and to succeed in a regular school setting.   School boards across Montreal refer students in need of our services.

CIS students generally come from underprivileged backgrounds.  CIS provides focussed, small group teaching adjusted to the learning capacity of the individual as well as the social and emotional development of the child.

CIS teachers are dedicated.  They succeed  in giving kids hope and in motivating them to continue with their education.   CIS has many success stories!
